I was able to take these Valley of Fire Photos during a roadtrip through the southwest of the United States in 2010. Just like everyone, we stayed some days in Las Vegas. Although Las Vegas has lots of entertainment to offer, the Valley of Fire should never be missed when you’re there! As you might know by now, I’ve seen quite a lot National and State Parks in the US. I still have to say though, that I liked the Valley of Fire very much. It’s only a short drive from Vegas, so you should definitely take a car and head over there to take some Valley of Fire Photos!
When we arrived, we started off to the White Domes and the Rainbow Vista. Afterwards we had to head to Silica Dome of course. Back in the days, Star Trek Generations was recorded there (the scene where Picard and Kirk fight against Soran together). I took one of the most important Valley of Fire Photos there of course. Afterwards we passed the Visitor Center in the south again and headed to Atlatl Rock, where old Indian carvings can be found in the rock. After a visit and a hike at Arch Rock, we headed back to the Park exit again.
