These few Milan Photos have been taken during my trip to Singapore in October 2012. The reason for this layover stop in Milan was that I found a very cheap flight ticket price with the Italian airline Alitalia. For only 120 Euros I could travel the following routing: Frankfurt – Milan – Rome – Paris – Singapore – Paris – Frankfurt.
The half day I had in Milan allowed me to take the bus from the airport (only around 10 Euros one-way) to Milan Central Termini Station. From then on you can go by subway (day ticket) to the “Duomo station” and start your photography tour through Milan! I started at the cathedral and then went to the Gallery Vittorio Emanuele just next to it. Pass through it and you will find the Scala Opera House, which does not look as spectacular from the outside as you might have expected. It does offer some nice photo opportunities in front of it. After that I just used the day to stroll around: The streets are beautiful and there is great food and coffee to be had everywhere. I managed to get some great Milan Photos taken in these few hours I had, and visited again later in 2012 and 2013. If you have a stopover in Milan, make good use of it and take some Milan photos on your own!
